U-Haul Storage of West Leesburg

We built a home so we needed temporary storage. Had a wonderful, easy experience with Store with Ease in Leesburg, FL. The initial set up was easy. We rented a 10X10 unit non-climate control, but I believe they have climate controlled too. Earlier this year, 2024, they painted the entire facility and with the recently upgraded gate pad, they really enhanced the property. Before the upgrades, I had issues 2 times getting in the gate, but with a quick call, and a human answering, they got me through the gate in minutes. I always felt like my items were safe and secure. Closing my account was simple too. Diether helped walk me through the closing process, which took, maybe 5 minutes. Diether was terrific and helpful. Thanks Store with Ease! If I need you again, I'll definitely be back.

I had some issues unlocking my unit through the app, and while customer service couldn’t resolve it, they connected me with the manager, Hunter. He was incredibly helpful and patient, walking me through the process step by step. We ended up needing to switch units, and Hunter made the transfer quick and seamless. The facilities themselves are very clean and well-maintained, with secure gate access and cameras, which gives me peace of mind. Overall, a great experience. Thank you Hunter, for going above and beyond!

Update 08/12/25 to business response. A credit was never refunded to me, so check your records again. They issued a credit for a third month which I did not reserve and did not use because I vacated the unit by the end of the second month as planned and originally reserved. Your response comes way too late and your business ethic is horrible. Your company has scammed me for $135, plain and simple. I stand by my original warning to others to not use this company! I paid for a unit for two months up front because that was all the time needed. They gave me a great rate with an 80% discount since I was doing a short term rental. After that , it all went to hell. When I arrived at my unit I could not get in since they had changed lock systems and did not notify me. At that time to fix it , Heather, the manager on duty tried switching me to another unit and screwed up the full contract in the process. I was finally able to get into the originally reserved unit minutes before the movers arrived with my items. Due to Heather's incompetence in dealing with the issue, when she put me back to my original unit she did not consider my discounts and the next time I went to my unit that had me locked out saying I had not paid my bill. Due to dealing with a foreign call center every time you call, that could not understand what I was explaining so I had to pay $135 to get into my unit that day to retrieve some of my things that I needed immediately. They said they would have a manager get in touch with me. Several days later, I got an email from Heather stating that she had made a mistake and she would put that credit towards the next months rent. I was not renting for the following month and told her I needed a refund of what they had mistakenly charged me due to her mistake. I never heard from them again. Several calls to a foreign call center since there is no local contact or person on the premises, (unless you count the family living in the RV in the back of the lot bathing the kids under a hose and barbecuing) that works there. I never ever got a call back, I have asked for the owner or a real manager instead of the (so-called manager on-duty, Heather.) I never received my refund and had to report it as fraud to my credit card company, who also reached out to them and never got a response either. I could not recommend them any less just based on the unprofessional lack of response to a very serious fraud issue. DO NOT USE!
