This is one of the more affordable storage facilities in the area. The location is super convenient to the home Depot and Lowe's which are right next to it. Tecla is the name of the lady that runs this place and she is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I've had a unit here for nearly 2 years and never had any issues that she hasn't solved immediately

This place is terrific! I had a unit with a different storage company that was dreadful. Thecla, the manager here, is outstanding! She goes above and beyond to make renters happy and to accommodate them. This is drive-up "garage" storage. The price is very reasonable, and the best around . . . I know . . . I've done the comparison shopping. There are a number of negative reviews from 5+ years ago. This is before Thecla was at this location. She was brought in to "clean it up," and she has done so. If you're interested in this location, have a chat with her. She'll put any concerns you might have to rest. All self-storage managers should be as kind, competent, and interested in their facilities as Thecla. The only "negative" is that there are no lights in the units. I knew that going in, and accepted it as a trade-off for all of the positives. To the various morons who wrote negative reviews showcasing their stupidity, come on! Complaining about this facility not being climate controlled . . . DUH - go rent a unit that IS if that's what you want! Complaining that you couldn't retrieve your items because your name isn't on the lease . . . DUH - your domestic issue isn't under this facility's control. Readers of these reviews - take this into account, please.

It depends on what you are storing. There is no climate control, and the inside of the room is very porous as far as all manner of things being able to crawl in. The space between the floor and the pull down door is not flush, so it allows anything to crawl under, and I have found lots of dry leaves and grit on the floor inside the unit on windy days, so you always have to be sweeping the floor, and dusting. If you store clothes or linens in the room, they have to be stored in airtight containers. On the plus side, the lady who runs the one at 2160 22nd Ave. in St. Pete, is very helpful, and always willing to give good advice. The price of the rooms are standard.
