Went in person after receiving an email my storage fees increased. This happens so often it’s stressful. I had to move 10 unit down same size. I couldn’t even downgrade because the few that were available were upstairs, that’s inconvenient. If you decide to move in get their online promo first. I missed out when I moved in, staff didn’t even give me first month free nor discounted price. Wish A1 self storage would reward those who pay on time and reconsider their high quarterly increases.

I am writing to express my concerns about the recent changes at this facility. Patricia, the previous manager, was exceptional and genuinely cared about the customers. However, since her departure, the quality of service has noticeably declined. The new manager, Pablo, has shown a troubling lack of professionalism and empathy. His behavior suggests racial bias, His response to complaints seems to be an indifferent “if you don’t like it, go somewhere else.” Additionally, he often appears to act as if he doesn’t understand nor speak Spanish, despite working in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood. Additionally, there has been a troubling increase in rent prices, which was not the case before. The overall maintenance and cleanliness of the facility have deteriorated significantly. The restrooms are consistently dirty, the units are poorly maintained, and there is a noticeable infestation of roaches. I hope these issues are addressed promptly to restore the quality of service and upkeep at the facility.
