If you want your items stolen from a dishonest storage company without working cameras then look no further than this facility! Watch the news story about the string of thefts (which I believe are related to the shady people hanging around on property) and keep in mind before moving that your property will be taken. I’ve used 3 other facilities and had nothing but good experiences. I had a storage unit here that was broken into and never missed a months payment nor did I miss a required insurance payment . Everything was good because it was insured right? Wrong, a liar in the office told the insurance that I had a husband take my belongings when I’ve never had a husband nor did anyone else have access or a key. I got a text one day saying I needed to secure my unit because it looked like someone could have gone in there but I was baffled because it was locked consistently prior. I went within the next day and All my possessions were stolen , not a door just looking like it could be broken into without any reimbursement from the insurance when it rightfully should have been paid out. Months go by and I thought everything else was thrown away and I get a call about moving out what was left. My leg was broken at the time so I said it would have to be when my cast was removed and she said okay. I call back to see if possibly I could move out what was left with my personal information and told I had a $1000 balance when I had not been there in months nor was anything decent left and the unit was actually Trashed with other people’s items thrown in and around the unit when I discovered it was burglarized. I have been beyond devistated to be a single mother of 8 without a house large enough to store out of season clothes, power wheels , extra appliances and more and thought I was storing items safely only to be disappointed and robbed. Disabled and have no help to replace things you worked hard for hurts worse than grief. And for the liars that have you pay insurance that they don’t pay out , I’ll be the first in line when the class action lawsuit comes up because you better believe if this has happened to me then there are plenty others that paid to be robbed and they can speculate that you had something to do with your own items being taken but not one camera worked to see who actually burglarized the unit. When I saw shady people in the office making weed transactions I should’ve listened to my spirit and left instead of signing with this company because they were close to my house….. GO ELSEWHERE or you may as well throw whatever you need to store in the trash because you’ll come up empty handed.
