A-American Mini Storage - Killeen TX

I have rented units from here before. Never had issues. This time, I had it for 2 1/2 months and someone broke into my storage unit. The lady in the office said I’d get my refund since I had already paid but also informed us that the two cameras that look at my unit were broken and asked about renters insurance. My lock didn’t look like it was messed with but it looked like whoever it was unscrewed the hinge from the actual door. And my unit was not the only one messed with. I’ve also seen a homeless person staying there on several different occasions. Needs better security for sure!!

Tiffany was AMAZING! I was driving from Oklahoma and was going to be in Texas until 3:30, that day she closed at 3pm but she was super kind and waited for me until I got there. My stuff was safe, I did not have any issues at all. When we dropped off all our stuff she saw how tired we were and even offered us snacks and water. I would 100% recommend this place. Thank you Tiffany for providing such great service.

VERY rude managers. Unfair and lazy. We bought a unit at a storage auction and had it cleaned out within 2 hours. We went to the office BEFORE closing and they were not there. We tried calling and they did not answer. So when we attempted to get the deposit a week later, they would not because we did not come to the office soon enough. Even though we left the unit unlocked and cleaned within a couple hours of winning it. I say lazy because she couldn't go back there and look to see if it was cleaned and unlocked. Which EVERY OTHER storage facility who we have won auctions with have always had no problem doing. This is theft in my opinion and we will be contacting the BBB or attorney if needed. Even auctioneer was upset.
