We used U-Haul for our move from Wesley Chapel to Spring Hill. There is no drop box at this facility. We did the mobile check in/drop off and a man who was dressed in athletic shorts and an old t-shirt came to the gate and said that there was a $20 fee to drop it off after hours. I said that is fine and to add it to my bill/credit card. He said that he would only take cash. I called the 1-800 U-Haul number multiple times and they informed me that I should never be required to pay cash to drop off my U-Haul. We tried to use the buzzer to talk with him and he refused to come back to the gate. The last representative I spoke to informed me to leave the U-Haul by the gate with the keys in the vehicle. While we were doing that, he came back to the gate and he starting screaming at us and said that he was going to call a tow truck if we left it there. We said that we would be willing to pay the $20 cash if he would provide a receipt... he said he wouldn’t work with us and we needed to leave. I then called U-Haul again (I believe this was now the 4th time calling) The U-Haul representative was very kind and advised us to take it to another location. Again she said she had never heard of needing cash to drop off the truck. Shady business for sure.

Customer Service is great!!! Fair prices and the manager lives on the premises so if you need something at a particular time just give a call beforehand and ask!!!! Thanks Yogi, appreciate it!
