Downtown Self Storage

This was great for the year that I rented out a unit. Units are straightforward boxes and cleaned before you rent one. There will be some dirt getting in if you choose a 1st floor unit but nothing to complain about on my things. The second floor is easily accessible by elevator or stairs and both are very safe. There is always someone to help you in the office and everyone there is great. Parking has always been easy inside. I had some bending on my latch and that was repaired quickly. They do not provide locks but they can sell one to you along with boxes and they provide dollies to use while you’re there. So this has been wonderful place to have easy quick storage.

I needed a storage unit over the summer and Downtown Storage fit my needs perfectly. They had an SJSU Student discount which was really nice for a college student. The staff was super nice and understanding, overall great experience.

A+. The rates are very fair and comparable to other local places. Super friendly staff. Alana and Brandon have been there for many years. Very knowledgeable. Easy freeway access. Entrance gate is a bit narrow for larger moving trucks, but still accessible (just make a wide turn into the driveway). The property is always clean and well maintained. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience storing here. Access hours are a bit more restricted than other places (9a-6p), however I like knowing that my belongings are safe after hours. The last place I was at I found people sleeping in their storage and hanging out in the aisles. Yikes! You won't find that here.
