Extra Self Storage - Chico

Always a great experience. Tom is who I've worked with the most. I have been a client here since 2017 off and on. They have consistently been a joy to work with. The place has cameras. It's a pretty relaxed process. They have inside and outside styles of storage. I imagine inside might be for more delicate storage things. I have only used the outside drive up storage. Every time they were super nice and accommodating. I find the environment, welcoming, clean, pleasant, and good business. They even pro rate your rental and give you a refund if you leave before a certain day, when you are considering move out times. The business is honest, and I find that comfortable and welcoming. I recommend this business. I don't know a better business in town for storage.

I was happy at first. The manager was nice . Then the bugs COCKROACHES EVERYWERE . I was mad that i wasnt informed about this and the manager knew when i confronted him about it and had a spray guy come outline my door way but that wasnt going to cut it. The insurance you pay for the damange caused by cockroaches is not enough to replace everything. I bug bomb 2 bombs at sametime 3 different days and moved out to a new location then immediatly bug bombed in new unit to make sure i killed anything that mite have snuck in . Unless you want bugs that multipluly ruin your electronics beds pretty much anything and it takes only 1 little guy to sneak in your clothes to reproduce thousands STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I got lucky bombed enough moved out next morning and im lucky i hadnt seen any bugs in any of my stuff the whole time i was at last unit. ( redtop storage) except black widows.

Tom was fantastic and quickly assisted me in finding a climate-controlled storage unit. He presented me with two options, and he was excellent to work with. His communication skills were top-notch.
