Granary Storage

I hate to give one star seeing that Gina was responsive in trying to help us, but they only keep two weeks worth of security footage which is practically useless unless you go to your storage space every day. We've had over $4000 worth of musical equipment stolen from this storage space within the first week of getting it. We didn't find out until later in the month, and if somebody actually bothered to check the units on a regular or at least occasional basis, they could've let us know that our storage unit was fully kicked in, opened, and robbed which would've allowed us to review security footage. From the reviews it looks like we weren't the only ones. I hope that the folks at Granary will start implementing a stronger security system, or at least keep their security footage for longer than barely three weeks so that their customers have some form of restitution.

I reserved a unit at Granary Storage but never moved anything in due to serious safety issues. The latch on my unit was broken, and while I was told it had been fixed, I returned a week later to find it was still not secure. This, along with the broken main gate (which allows anyone to enter without a code), made me uncomfortable using this particular facility. Despite canceling and never storing anything, I’m still being charged. I’ve requested written cancellation confirmation multiple times with no response. Ryan assured me he was getting corporate approval for a FULL REFUND, that my account was canceled, and that I would not be charged going forward — yet nothing has been resolved. This has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I would not recommend storing anything here.
