Lock It Up West

I rented a U-haul here. When I returned the vehical there was a mix up with the price and I was overcharged like $50. It was frustrating to deal with getting a refund. The young guy working when I returned it couldn't figure out what to do, the other person I talked to the next day wasn't very helpful, and I ended up having to call U-haul corporate number. But in the end it was corrected. Other than that my experience was good.

Never had a problem here. When I first got the unit it took a day to get my access code to work, but that's ok. 24 hour access was very convenient since I used it as I was moving into a new place and would go get a load when I had time, usually at night. The locker was not too bad, only complaint was mine didn't have a light. It was also on the inside so i couldn't pull my truck up to it, but my laziness of walking five feet isn't a strike against them. The area isn't really a bad area, it's industrial and quiet, just watch out for the telephone poles in the suicide lane. The workers were very helpful, and made sure I was given an excellent rate, even having a military/veteran discount applied. The previous review sounds like someone who was just bitter because they wouldn't wipe his @$$ for him after he was late on a payment.

The customer service at the beginning was decent. After renting a truck for just 4 hours and driving 1 hour round trip I was charged $200 for 600 miles! After questioning my bill, they realized their initial mistake of not having the right mileage on file from the beginning. After 4 days I'm still waiting for my $200 refund and the initial $65 deposit. Equipment was clean and worked properly. The customer service? NOT GOOD. Wouldn't recommend this place.
