Mead Self Storage

Let me tell you , this place is a scam !! 1. They are always getting the units broken into ( don't believe me ? Ref: to the video attached) 2. This storage place changes there management like it's the thing to do... This place is currently being ran by Towne storage and when I say it was a nightmare!!!! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY A NIGHTMARE!!! VALERIE DOESN'T HAVE ANY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.... SHE WILL HANG UP IN YOUR FACE & TURN THE TABLES AROUND & SAYS SHE DOESN'T" RECALL ".... Geoffrey the employee is very rude and acts and moves as if he was on some type of drugs. Sooooo now let's get into story time ..... I rented the unit back in July when this place was MEAD SELF STORAGE..... I was paying around $69 and some Odd cents .... I was payed all the way Thur August.... Suddenly they changed management with no notice or anything.... These TOWNE STORAGE people come in and change prices and said I was months behind when all I owed was September....... So whatever I payed my balance $301 because I couldn't afford to lose the unit due to having all my daughter clothes there. The next day I go to move out .... And I can't get into the gate .... I call and they say the gates are malfunctioning and nobody will be onsite till Monday ... Monday come still nobody... VALERIE TELLS ME don't worry Tuesday someone will be on site.... Tuesday comes ( accidentally threw keys away to unit) so I needed a cut off .... They "surprisingly" got there drills "stolen" couldn't cut off lock.... Valarie tells me after trying to reach THE MANAGER all morning I'm going to have to pay October rent ... MIND YOU I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO MOVE OUT SINCE SATURDAY but was unsuccessful due to their property being a POS I had to pay a locksmith to come and open the storage because they could not seem to assist me..... Until this Thursday because " their equipment had been stolen " not my problem right? But was still trying to make me pay I rather give my money to someone else because I refused to pay them another month after upping my charges saying I was months behind. I highly suggest not running here I already went and reported them to the BBB (better Business bureau) and I will proceed to file a case against them in small claims court this place is a scam. please believe the reviews and I'm going to post from every email I have to lower their rating they are not four stars yet alone any stars. Poor customer service. Poor management. And poor communication stay far away from this place and if you have rented there you may want to get your things out before they get breaking into.

Very helpful manager was very professional and helpful... I would recommend this storage the lady who helped me was awesome thank you Tiffany. I hope I got her name rite ... But awesome.. prices were far and reasonable as well

Horrible, horrible horrible place never store your personals or anything valuable here. I think the manager had some scam going on. I have my unit broken into they cut the lock stone over $5000 worth of my personal and sentimental values and then when I went to make a claim, the insurance company said that somebody from mead storage canceled the the policy if they think I’m just going to let this slide, they are terribly mistaken. This isn’t right at all and I made a police report.
