Monterey Hi-way Self Storage

My dad died and I tried to get his stuff from his unit while it was paid, the people told me to come and they would cut the lock. When I came, they said oh I forgot the lock cutting guy isn’t here anymore today so I gave my number to them and said please call me when you can cut it. They never called me but then sent me notice that the unit was overdue and if I wanted the stuff in it I would have to pay extra or have a lien put against it. I don’t know what was in it, probably little of value, but this company did not do right by me. I tried to call several times, sometimes the phone would not go through like their phone was disconnected, and I left several voice messages asking them to call me so I could explain what happened and try to get my dads things. They never did.

I have used a few storage facilities in the area, and helped friends with many more, but this is my favorite by far. The facility is clean, there's plenty of room, good signage, easy access and the unit I rented had a light inside, with an electrical outlet. The staff is nice, there's an accessible dumpster on site, and the hours are the best I have seen. The prices are good, and the staff let me know about possible units opening up in the time frame I was requesting. I really like this place and would use it again if I ever need a storage unit. I have already recommended it to several people.

Hi-way one storage is a GREAT service. Peri and the team at Hi Way one are all very cautiously and professionally- the hours are great (6am-8pm) the facility is clean and secure - its located in the sun belt so it's never too hot or too cold,. very central convenient location - can't go wrong.
