Public Storage

I have had my unit for 5 years. It's clean, well lit, easy to get to and large! This year I'm finally clearing it out and Angel (who IS, in fact, an angel!) has been incredibly helpful and kind which has made a stressful situation flow seamlessly. Thank you Angel!

So for the experience with Public Storage is a winner. ANGEL who manages the West Ashley Ashley River Rd store was very helpful answered all of my many questions and helped me with getting checked-in. She explained upfront everything. RHONDA was a helper as well. She knew Angel was very busy and I made an appt. She check with me to make sure I had every to help the process to move forward with ease. I didn't know I had the link she directed me to scroll further down and explained what to expect for the link and what I need going to complete the process. She was just helping out to accommodate customers. I also talk with Anthony in reference to the sight on Bees Ferry Road it is a new facility looks great from the pictures, but for my need, Anthony help me the most and I'm grateful for his searching the system to find what I needed due to a physical challenge. Thank you Anthony for your patience and searching to help me to be comfortable.

nice people in the office but the company is all about bait and switch. When I first moved in for a parking spot it was $187 for a 12x30 (larger than I needed but all they had at the time). after 5 months without notice rent went up over 32% to $247. The lady in the office was nice and found me a 10x20 that was $136 but after only 3 months raised the rent 39% without warning to $190. I reached out and after a couple of months they "approved my rate reduction" to $171 which is a 10% reduction but still over 25% more than the agreed upon rate of $136. This same spot is now available for $108 on their website which is over 43% less than they were charging after raising the rent after only 3 months. If you are good with this, rent from them. I am not and cannot wait to get out from this horribly dishonest company. Update: after this review they discounted my bill a little bit, but still not nearly what the original price was. I am sure it will go up again soon as this is what Public Storage does.
