Public Storage

Been renting a space here for a few months now. Jammie is always super helpful and friendly which I really appreciate. The rental and check in process is really easy. The only real downside is that the elevator is broken pretty often, but my experience has been problem free since switching to a ground floor unit.

Luckily I did not get a flat tire my first day moving my things in, as there were screws and nails all over the ground. I picked up the ones I could see. I mentioned the issue twice, but it appears no effort has been made to address the problem. While parked to organize and unload my things, the manager, Jaime, honked at me, then proceeded to park half in the handicap spot and half in the striped no parking / handicap access area. There were two other parking spots available on the other side of my car. I spoke with her in the office about the incident. I asked her if she was handicapped. She replied that she was not. She said she usually parked where I was parked, and “her customers” use the other spots. I’m unclear if she was referring to another business, or possibly her personal business? As I am a paying customer of Public Storage, ie. one of “her customers”. The elevator in the facility also gives me grave concerns. The units in the second floor can ONLY be accessed by the elevator. There are not a lot of things in life which scare me, but honestly that elevator makes me slightly afraid. The location is super convenient for me, so I don’t want to move, but if Jaime is the manager, I don’t see things improving any time soon. I’ve also witnessed her being extremely rude to people. This is not only totally inappropriate, it’s wildly unprofessional.

My experience with Linda and Jamie was excellent since day 1. Both ladies was helpful. Got me a unit to rent over the phone with Linda and Jamie helped checked in.
