South Street Storage

Would highly encourage people to refrain from using this storage facility. For claiming to be “secure”, I had a 2008 Dodge Charger towed out of their gated facility which requires a code to enter. The owner did not return any calls, drug their heels on providing security footage and gate code entries to local police, and provided little to no transparency about what they were doing to help with the situation. Police stated that the cameras were “pointed down” during the time period my car was taken. It was an easily identifiable car with Husker plates and it took 1+ weeks to get any update on footage/codes. All that time lost. If you have any RVs, cars, trailers, etc stored at this place, take it from me that someone was able to gain entry to the place and tow a car out with little no trace left behind. Your stuff is likely at risk too. I was referred to this place by a friend and it turned out to be the wrong place to store things. We were not behind on payments either. Very disappointed in the lack of help, support, and communication this company (they are connected with Dallman Drywall) has provided. Do not do business with these people if you can avoid it.

The only thing that warrants a single star in the review is the price of renting here. Otherwise it’s terrible service. I’ve been trying to provide my notice to vacate for 2 weeks now and no one will return my email and phone messages. I talked to a lady at the drywall business where their office is co-located and she did apparently cancel something because now I received a late payment text notice on a payment I did expect to make. I just need them to acknowledge that for next month it will be canceled. I should have heeded the warning sign when I rented because they also wouldn’t respond to emails and calls then so I drove there and the lady I had to deal with chewed me out for showing up as they do all business remotely.

WARNING WARNING$$$$ 3000dollars.$$$worth of stuff missing...! The lady that manages very dis. respectful??? her and the owner got thereown rule system!!!.????.. Are stuff was stolen. Because the owner cut the paddle lock??!!!!!!!! We where only two months behind a 45 dollar storage unit.. not because we can't afford it but life busy WE had a HOUSE FIRE...... it was what little we had leftover!!!!!. .. owner pulled the security lock off paddle lock off your storage unit... over 90 dollars we missed and with out any notice.... Repeat without any notice... Owners seem to have had there big chance to dig threw are stuff.... We are now going to be talking to lawyer but I'm sure the cameras are rigged to there benefit!!!!! The owner also stalked my daughter following her around as she trying to get what left out storage he also owns Dallman drywall....
