I was able to speak with Avaunt about our move out date and he gave me all of the available options and walked me through billing to be sure I wasn’t stuck paying more than I needed too. He also sent me an SMS confirmation of our conversation to assuage any fears I might have been having about our conversation not being communicated. Great customer service.

Terrible move-in experience. I picked SpareBox because they showed the lowest cost in the area for the unit, but that cost was quickly inflated with an extra monthly insurance fee and an administrative fee that wasn't mentioned anywhere until I was checking out. When I got to the unit, I couldn't remove the "tag" they used to show it had been cleaned, and there was nobody on-site to help me, so I had to call in for help and was directed to walk around looking for other units without locks of the same size and tug on their tags until I found one I could actually remove - then they changed my reservation to the new unit. The new unit was not clean, it had a number of cobwebs in it and looked like it hadn't been opened in months. To top it all off, I needed a lock for the unit, and when I went to buy one from the kiosk at the front (again, no person on-site), it took my money and didn't dispense a lock. I've called twice now to get a refund for the missing lock and still have not gotten a resolution. Absolutely rotten service overall, very disappointing move-in experience.
