(REVIEW EDIT: The caretaker of the property has done a fantastic job as of the last few months, and would like to say thank you for being more punctual with the Open/Close times, and for keeping the area around the dumpster cleaned up and very presentable! HUGE improvements, very impressed! Hope they (i.e. The Caretaker) gets a raise or at least a bonus for their hard work. Significant improvements should be awarded and appreciated!) ORIGINAL POST: Very nice, for a cheaper self storage facility. The overall price, location, convenience, and business model all seem to be solid, and I only have 1 complaint worth speaking on, which is the unit insurance that you can't opt out of unless you do it in person at their physical office, however their closest office is roughly 60-80 miles away! If you could, either A.) Change the policy to allow an online/over the phone option to opt out of the OPTIONAL insurance, or B.) Open more offices closer to individual facilities to provide better customer service. I'd love to operate one of your locations, if we could potentially open an office branch at my local storage location to better assist the surrounding area of LaPorte County! Glad to see so many improvements!!

Do yourself a favor and do not rent from this place. This is the worst storage space I have ever seen! It’s dirty and needs repairs. More importantly, when I got there with a full truck my storage unit wasn’t ready. Colleen stated the original assigned unit door was broke. She was able to find another unit, same size, but it’s costs more. AND I HAVE TO PAY A TRANSFER FEE FOR THEIR ERROR. Colleen, dear, you have poor customer service skills. Please get better at your job! The main customer service people kept apologizing for the property manager at this location. Still waiting for call back from district manager. Pure craziness.

Staff is awesome. Michelle and Brian are always very helpful with anything that I need. They always go above and beyond. For example, they helped carry out boxes that I purchased from the office. I must say the reason for only four out of five stars is because SROA is horrible with their rate increases. This is ridiculous. There’s so many other facilities nearby that are way cheaper. Michelle and Brian are the only reason I was staying there. Those two are such a great team and they’re so helpful with my Storage needs. I would hate to say, but I had made arrangements to pack my belongings and take them elsewhere to a relatives house. I really wish the online prices weren’t so much cheaper, knowing that the new tenants can get a price that is almost half of the price of what I pay just doesn’t sit right with me, but I am very happy to know there are still good and kind people that love their job and care for the tenants.
