The Container Store

Today I walked in the store, there was two ladies at the front, one black and one white, both did not acknowledge me, when another customer who was white walked in, they were acknowledged. I will not patronize this business. I’m glad they didn’t have what I needed. Home goods will get my money every time.

The store was large and had a massive sale going on. The staff was very helpful asking me if I needed help every so often, I spent a lot of time there. There was so much ground to cover and I wanted to see everything! One thing that I was a little disappointed in is the lack of glassware for the kitchen. I was looking particularly for Pyrex containers to switch out my plastic containers and there were only individual ones, no sets. No fault of the staff, I would have expected a container store to have more container options for meal prep that do not involve plastics.

A worker asked if I needed help. I indicated I was looking for stuff for a graduation party for displays and to hold things. Instead of helping me, the worker told me I should go to Michael’s nearby instead. I actually found a couple of things fitting what I was looking for but was so turned off by how rude the worker treated me that I decided that yes, I’ll go elsewhere.
