U-Haul Moving & Storage of Blaine

For some reason, they do hire the rudest people on earth. I had a very very bad experience with one of their employees. that called me from the main office to tell me that she moved my reservation from one location to another because they don’t have a trailer in that location although I know that location has a trailer because I passed by that location driving my car when I was on the phone making the reservation yet when I said no keep my reservation in the same location I booked. rudely; She said well fine I will cancel your reservation and hung up on me. I find out that U-Haul do not like the independent dealers to rent their equipment locally and try to take the reservation from them. and send those reservations to their own locations that owned by U-Haul and I consider that piracy because they are stealing work and money from independent dealers that actually they are begging people to become dealers then steal money from them. Unfortunately that’s how they deal with customers and that’s how they deal with their own dealers. And that Employee they had in the main office. Her name is Chris. She is so rude. I don’t think she belongs to be in a professional job and represent a company like U-Haul. If U-Haul cares about their image, they should do something about that Employee.

I recently rented a truck to move my stepson and his girlfriend. I had a problem with the truck they first gave me before I even got out of the parking lot, but was able to get an exchange with only about a 15 minute delay so not horrible. The rest of the rental process went fairly well. I'm just glad they were able to get me taken care of and on my way.

Well.... This is a story..... Rented a truck, regional manager called. We discussed; 20ft box truck, 600 miles, two trips, twin cities to Hayward. Drop off in Hayward. Reality when I went to pick up the truck. No trailer, 300 mile limit, and no close drop off location.... And it's not like I can just back out, because I'm on a tight schedule.... As per all movers.... The other problems were, the truck exhaust was not properly installed.... There was no power brake or steering..... And a MASSIVE STICKER over the speedometer, hindering me from even seeing what speed I was doing on the highway...... 1200$ later......... I'm going to submit a BBB complaint, with finance refunding. Because holy hell... They bait and switched, scammed me
