U-Haul Moving & Storage of Broadway Plaza

Ive moved a couple times using this location and had a storage unit here for a period of time. The manager Bonnie is exceptional, and her staff follows that lead. From my experience everyone here is friendly, knowledgeable, explains the process and cares about the outcome of your experience. Would recommend coming here even if it isnt the closest location!

0 stars if I could. Drive the extra miles and use a different U-Haul. At pickup, I was told 1. Truck was less than a 1/4 gas tank and if I refilled it a $12.00 credit would be added. (which was wrong it was 16 miles to empty), then in person and last second that I could not drop the truck off within the time frame I had scheduled. Instead, I was told I had to return it by 5:30 PM or keep it overnight. This was never communicated beforehand and was incredibly inconvenient, especially given that it was snowing. There is nowhere to legally park a giant U-Haul truck overnight in the snow without risking it being towed. I also filled the tank back to 1/4 and have yet to receive said credit. With no other option, I returned the truck to the U-Haul lot and dropped the keys as instructed. Several designated truck spots were taken by regular cars, so I parked the truck on the side of the building (Spot J). The next day, the manager called me and told me I had “pissed her off” and said I should use a different service next time. Completely unprofessional, rude, and unacceptable behavior. I don’t need to be told not to come back — I never want to deal with this woman again. Zero accountability, zero understanding, and extremely poor customer service. I would strongly recommend driving the extra mile or 2 and going elsewhere.
