U-Haul Moving & Storage of North Brunswick

The employees at this location were great. The gentleman at the desk was professional and courteous, and the person who checked the truck back in at the end of the night was also very respectful. The equipment itself was clean and in good condition. However, the price-to-service ratio is absolutely ridiculous. I rented a 15-foot truck that was advertised for $29.95, and my final payment came out to $180. That is outrageous. I understand there are mileage fees, taxes, and additional charges, but the gap between the advertised price and the actual total feels extremely misleading. The customer service was good. The system and pricing structure were not. If U-Haul wants to improve the customer experience, the biggest improvement would be transparent pricing. Customers should have a clear, realistic estimate of what they will actually pay — not a number that looks affordable upfront but ends up being six times higher at checkout. I’m not unhappy with the staff. I’m unhappy with the pricing model

U-Haul is terrible to work with. I had a bad experience today. I had a truck to pick up at Monmouth junction, NJ. When I reached my location the first thing I see is the LOCKS, the locks with U-Haul are really terrible. Secondly, after one hour long wait, they changed the pickup location. ( they cancelled the reservation and refunded back the original payment and had to pay upfront for another truck for suggested location which is 10miles away from my previous location). Then I came to North Brunswick location, the truck here was parked in deep inside and cannot be able to drive out. My opinion is that other rentals I had experienced was never this unorganized fleet of trucks ever. All my time I invested in U-Haul is just waste of time. PLEASE BE AWARE.! This happened between 10PM-1AM in morning.

Don’t go here go to another site, this person is very unprofessional and rude to the customers. She gave a customer a hard time about open and inspecting a box to validate that it will work for him. And me a hard time about buying boxes. If you need them order them on line and less hassle. This place has forgotten about the customer.
