U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sanford

Rented a truck from this U-Haul location and was put in a dangerous situation because the tires were clearly not inspected. One of them was literally tearing apart while I was driving. This is basic safety and should never be overlooked. Extremely disappointed and will not be renting from this location again. UPDATE: I opened the back of my U-haul trailer to get something out after almost making it to my destination and snow got all in the back of my trailer, all over my things, got in a box that has my console in it due to an issue with the doors. After the tire problem and the issue with the door, I’m very unhappy and would not recommend this location to anyone. It’s the simple things that should’ve been checked and weren’t. As long as they’re getting their money, any issues of yours don’t concern them. I was in the middle of cleaning the snow out and thought I should stop to take pictures because this is unbelievable.

Dave and Rick at U-Haul were absolutely incredible. We were getting ready to travel with our four kids, and they took the time to thoroughly fix and check our trailer lights to make sure everything was completely safe and road-ready. They didn’t rush us, explained what they were doing, and genuinely cared about our family being safe on the road. It’s rare to find people who take that kind of pride in their work and look out for customers the way they did. We are so grateful for their help and highly recommend them to anyone needing trailer or towing assistance. Thank you both for going the extra mile for our family!

DO NOT RENT from this U-Haul. I have been using U-Haul for MANY years and in several different states. The Assistant Manager is RUDE, DISMISSIVE and NEEDS additional Customer Service training! They will tack on fees for services not rendered and charge for fees not discussed or made clear. There I another location just down the street…. 3851 S. Orlando Ave. go there!!
