Airport Self Storage

Have had 2 innocents out there in the years I have been there., first was the electronic gate closed on us as we were driving in causing $1000 in damage to the siding of the trailer, I informed them and they did nothing so I dropped it. Second was a tire that was damaged and blew out. Trailer had been setting there for some time. I checked it some weeks before and all the tires were fine. Arrived last week to check on it after receiving a call about a flat tire from the office. Found scuff marks on both left side tires with the rear one blown out, tires were around 6 yrs old but only had about 1000 miles on them these are 14 ply tires. They just don't blow on there own just sitting there. Scuff marks don't happen on there own resulting in a blown tire, something hit it, but they insist it was an old tire and blew on it own from The heat and would not cover the cost to replace it, we pay for safe and secure storage. So I thought.

As a "favor" , a employee, Jerry, offered to store my belongings here. He then insisted on packing them and purposely broke my heirloom dishes and left a very valuable Mark Twain book out in the rain. He then denied everything. I'm trying to get compensated, but he " has no money", then a new car is parked in his spot. Real sleazebag. I know this place is insured, how would i file a claim? They think they can mess with people, who know the reasons, they make no sense.

I stored my trailer at this facility for a few months. The only reason I gave them 2 stars and not 1 star is because the facility is safe and has a dump station for septic. They are over priced with limited access hours. They will not refund or pro-rate when you vacate your spot (a few days after you paid for the month). No willingness to work with clients if they mess up and charge you a late fee. I do not recommend this storage for trailers unless you are in a bind.
