My items were delivered physically damaged, smelling like mold and with clear signs of poor storage conditions. I also had an entire box missing and was given someone else's things, which I immediately sent back. I had rolling hanging storage which arrived with the bottom completely exposed and things falling out. While it was being brought through the door the delivery person wasn't careful at all bumping it to the point where one of the legs came loose. The worst part of all of this is that after repeated attempts to reach out to their customer service team to find a resolution (and my missing box) and repeated promises to get back to me, there still has been no resolution, nothing. I had to deep clean my clothes and wipe down this mystery brown crust on my boxes, which were brand new. Again I could swallow all the utter failings of Boxie24 except for the repeated lies of customer service.

I am in shock... all my stuff is ruined. The plastic boxes are broken, cardboard boxes are soaked. My blankets have stains, my books are wet and frozen together, my leather bags and shoes are ruined, my cabinet is soaked. I'll have to throw everything out. It would've been cheaper for me to just throw out all of my stuff instead of giving it to them. Now I've paid for storage and have to throw it all out anyway. Terrible personal loss.

I trusted BOXIE24 with all of my personal belongings while I was temporarily away from New York. Since returning, they have refused to give me access to my own property, including medication I urgently need. For weeks, I have been delayed, ignored, and given excuses. They try to force delivery days later instead of allowing me to retrieve my things. At this point, I am genuinely afraid that my boxes are damaged, ruined, or missing, I'm terrified at what I'm going to receive. Reading other Google reviews has been terrifying. If there are ongoing litigations, I want to be contacted, I will join them. Either way, I am taking this to court. I have contacted NYPD, NYC311, and the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection because I no longer trust this company with my property or my safety. If you care about your belongings, your health, or your sanity: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. *UPDATE*: It’s disturbing how quickly BOXIE24 responds to Google reviews, yet I still do not have my belongings. I believe they stole everything, I am in contact with the police at the moment. INTERNAL INCOMPETENCE DOES NOT CONVERT INTO LEGAL AUTHORITY You hide behind “business model” and “logistics” as if those words replace accountability. They don’t. They only expose how fragile your operation actually is. They claim a “car breakdown.” That fake excuse does not explain, denying me access to my own property, including medically necessary prescription medication. It is dangerous and irresponsible. By refusing in‑person retrieval and forcing unwanted delays, this company has put my health at serious risk, I have to go to the hospital today and will sue them ASAP. The stress and fear this has caused is extreme and completely avoidable by meaningless incompetence. They say they offered compensation. That is misleading. No refund was actually issued. I had to dispute the charges with my bank because they would not take responsibility. BOXIE24 did not expect someone who documents everything and does not back down, trust me, I have a lot of patience and will call them every day.

{2025 Update: FRAUD} it’s been about a year since I used these guys and last year I had to threaten them with legal action before getting my stuff back. I don’t owe them any money and yet they just went into my account two days ago to take out almost $160 that I did not authorize. Use them at your own risk. {Update: Still Avoid Boxie24! After posting my review and reporting Boxie24 to the BBB, Bill finally contacted me to settle the claim. I asked for a full refund, the return of my missing items, an explanation of how they were lost, and an apology—none of which were even acknowledged! Instead, they offered a refund only if I removed my negative reviews. When I didn’t respond for three days, they marked my account as “Not Paid.” I doubt I’ll ever get my belongings back since they won’t admit they lost (or stole) them, and they refuse to apologize. They’ll *only* refund my money if I take down my review, which is a significant breach of good business practices. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS!!!} *This review will be posted in as many places as possible.* This is a SCAM company, do NOT trust them with your stuff! When trying to get my stuff back it was problem after problem. After spending almost $500 for only 6 weeks of storage, here’s the worst of what happened to me: 1. A rude delivery guy named Mike, leading a team of four, left my items outside my building instead of bringing them to my apartment, claiming I “didn’t pay for delivery” and that he was “too busy.” I had to move everything, including heavy items, myself. 2. Several items arrived completely broken, but the team left so quickly I couldn’t address it with them. 3. The worst part: Not all my items were delivered! A suitcase listed on the inventory is missing, and I’ve received no updates despite multiple calls and emails over four weeks. 4. The most absurd: They delivered a box belonging to someone else, clearly marked with their name and address. Despite my complaints, they haven’t reached out to fix this, so I still have the stranger’s stuff. I’ve tried contacting Boxie24 via phone and email for a month, but my efforts were met with either being ignored or given the runaround. I provided evidence of every issue, but received little to no acknowledgment or assurance. Adam and Tara, the only two reps, repeatedly promised callbacks or emails from a supervisor, which never happened. Adam even hung up on my father when he called! When I asked directly for a supervisor, I was told it’s “impossible to transfer calls” and they "can't provide a name, number, or email” for them either. I’m starting to doubt a supervisor even exists! If they even respond to this review, that will be more than what I've gotten in the past month. Why You Shouldn’t Use Boxie24: 1. Their website promises short-notice delivery, but Adam told me it wasn’t possible and that deliveries need to be requested well in advance. 2. The website claims you can pick up items directly, but Adam said this isn’t allowed because there are no attendants at their facility—it’s delivery only. (If I could’ve picked up my items, I might have avoided losing my suitcase!) 3. Despite claims of safekeeping and professional handling, they take no responsibility if they damage your items. 4. Customer service is excellent before they take your money, but drops to nearly nonexistent afterward—responses are often unhelpful or ignored entirely. 5. No visible supervisors or accountability. Only two customer service reps, and emails from “Bill” lack a last name or title—red flags for shady practices! In closing, I’m down almost $500, several broken items, a suitcase full of almost every single shoe I own and several weeks of decent mental health. I’m heartbroken because my older sister gave me a lot of the stuff in that suitcase, including the suitcase! But it’s looking like I’ll never get it back now… Boxie 24 has refused any updates, refunds or general human decency. So not only will I never use Boxie24 again, I’m legitimately praying for their downfall. Give them your money (and stuff) at your own risk!

Stored a few suitcases and spare boxes with them for 10 months. Spare boxes were not returned, and suitcases reeked of mold. Clothes were covered in brown, smelly stains. Very gross, and some things were not salvageable. I do not recommend for long-term storage. Edited to add before and after pictures of my suitcase. I forgot how clean it used to look :(
