Citizens Self Storage

Setting up my account was quick and easy. Brandy was very kind and welcoming, the property felt safe and clean. I’m giving four stars because of one issue. I rented a small upper-level unit. Before signing anything, I asked if a lower unit was available, but there wasn’t at the time, so I asked to be added to the waiting list. After completing my paperwork and payment, I left the property. About 30 minutes later, I received a call that a lower unit had just opened up. When I returned, I was told there would be a $10 transfer fee, even though I hadn’t moved anything in yet and had only rented the unit for about 30minutes. It felt a bit unfair, but unfortunately, the fee couldn’t be waived.

Brandy really went out of her way to help me today. I couldn’t lock my storage unit and she took the time to change the locking mechanism, even got on her hands and knees and cleaned the dirt build up from the sliding door track. She really dig into fixing my problem and was positive and happy to help. I really appreciate that kind of service!

After years of renting storage at citizen's self storage, it was time to empty it out. I met with Brandy and closing it out went smoothly. I highly recommend this place if you ever need a storage unit.
