I was with them for months ended up 3 months behind and tried calling multiple times to arrange a payment since I was off work due to maternity leave. I left multiple messages with my name and number and my reason for calling. I never received a call back and then received a text message asking about how my stay had been. I checked my online account and it said I no longer had a unit with them. I received no notification that they were doing anything with my unit! The mice are also absolutely terrible, they got into everything, bags, totes, there was poop all over my stuff and nothing was done. I tried putting traps and stuff up myself.

I initially tried to set everything up online. I work retail and my day at work is about all the “face to face” contact I want in a typical day. Even though they closed in 30 minutes, he took me to different sized units and then when I decided, he explained everything I needed to know in detail. I had a few questions and he was very attentive and informative: The whole process of picking a unit, signing the lease, buying the lock, getting my codes and paying took less than 25 minutes and I never felt rushed. Getting a storage unit doesn’t seem like the type of transaction where stellar customer service would occur. But I was just so happy with the whole process and the half month discount and the flow of the whole thing. His customer service and knowledge really made the whole process seamless. I found many storage units in holland, but I chose Devon storage and I’m glad I did.
