Extra Space Storage

This establishment is at an advantage with Vida and Doug. I have rented storage units in NYC, VA, and NC for many years and Vida and Doug are the epitome of professionalism. Vida is knowledgeable and patient. She is also friendly. I see her often managing the property on my assigned storage unit (floor) and she speaks every time. It is important to mention as many places today lack staff with social skills. I recently met Doug who is just as friendly and professional. I waited 1 (one) year to write this review. This property has covered parking and a great staff managing the space. You can’t go wrong with renting a unit. Hopefully the owners are aware of the exceptional skill set Vida and Doug bring to this property.

I just hung up with Vida at this location. We are adding a second unit, and I didn't even consider calling around. The prices are wonderful and there is no bait and switch. When we needed our first unit, I had rented another storage unit (at a different company) and was so discouraged by the lack of cleanliness and security -- along with water stains indicating potential leaks, that I closed that unit and asked for recommendations. A friend, who is a longterm customer of Extra Space on Morehead, recommended it to me and I haven't had any bumps at all. Besides having a great location and easy parking, the facility is clean and secure. Vida was super helpful on the phone to help me select another unit. I've had other staff help with little questions about the lock/code when we first rented our unit. This is our first time using a storage facility so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was honestly dreading it. I'm so glad I selected Extra Space Storage. I like the covered parking, the app, the passcodes and cameras, as well as the cleanliness. Thank you to the friendly staff and management, who are clearly committed to providing a top notch experience!

Huge thanks to Doug and Vida for their incredible help! I showed up with more stuff than my online reservation could handle, and they pivoted instantly to get me into the perfect size unit. Their cooperation and flexibility made a stressful moving day so much easier. Highly recommend the Morehead location!
