Keira R. is a phenomenal site manager at Extra Space Storage. Her customer service skills are truly outstanding. She greets every customer with a warm smile and goes the extra mile by opening the door and personally welcoming them something I haven’t experienced with store representatives in the past. She treats everyone with respect, and when the office is busy with multiple customers, she is very courteous and communicates clearly, letting everyone know she will be right with them. Keira was extremely patient with all of my concerns, especially after not receiving the same level of respect from a prior manager. I also appreciate Extra Space Storage as a company because they clean and sanitize their units before the next customer moves in. They provide carts to help load belongings, and the facility has excellent lighting day and night, which makes you feel safe and comfortable. I would absolutely rent here again if needed.

MARCH 2026 UPDATE: I was contacted by Extra Space Storage corporate and was refunded the monthly rent. I had to relocate both of my storage units down to south Florida and if ESS's monthly rental rates were less than their competitors, I would definitely utilize their storage units again. ================================= Lied about prorating monthly bill to move out. Will not refund money and changed move out date illegally. ======================================== I’ve been a loyal Extra Space Storage customer for approximately 12 years and have never once been late on a payment. I currently rent multiple units and have always been a model customer. I spoke directly with the LPGA location manager, Keira, regarding moving out of one of my two units. My payment due date was 1/28, and my confirmed move-out date was 1/31—just three days later. I was explicitly told, “You will only be charged for the days you rent the unit.” Based on that assurance, I made the payment. After moving out, I was then told the payment could not be prorated or refunded, which directly contradicts what I was toland contradicts what other locations have confirmed is at the manager’s discretion. Additionally, my move-out date was incorrectly changed to 2/3, adding three extra days I did not occupy the unit. This is extremely disappointing treatment for a long-term, loyal customer. I’ve previously left positive reviews for other Extra Space Storage locations and staff (including Chavon and Gerardi in Pompano Beach and Melinda in Ormond Beach, who are excellent), so this experience is especially frustrating by comparison. Due to this issue, I am now moving all of my remaining units out of Extra Space Storage and transitioning to CubeSmart, and I’ve also been in discussions with Safeguard Storage. I hope corporate reviews this situation and honors the prorated refund that should have been issued. Loyal customers should not have to escalate matters like this to receive fair treatment. (Also, I waited to the end of my unit lease to leave review because the staff at this location during my move-in was "unpleasant". Stephanie who worked at the LPGA when i moved into the location was intolerable! She always addressed me as "girl" because she could not remember my name. And i'm not talking in greeting with a "Hey girl!" but "hey, girl, i need you to be sure you leave a review. It was totally unprofessional.
