Greenbox Self Storage

decided to rent here. lady was kind and had a beautiful, friendly big white dog that was very affectionate even though she shouted at him repeatedly. nevertheless, after three days of renting here, i get a vm from a man whom i discovered no longer works there accusing me of theft, saying they have me on camera stealing myriad items and numerous sketchy and, most notably, FALSE accusations. he referred to Green Box as "the U-Haul place" and told me i was trespassed if i didnt return whatever random stolen items he could conjure on a whim. "We want our shit" was left on my voicemail. The man said he would give my information to police and I calmly responded to this drivel by simply asking to see whatever footage he saw. He said he'd been to prison and yammered on about how he could be wrong sometimes. He told me I could come the following Monday to see the footage. however, when Monday arrived, he alluded to not being an employee and that the manager was in fear I would be a danger to her somehow. Also, until the police followed up on the footage I would not be able to view it. I have reached out to DPD daily to see if any police report in my name was filed and there hasn't been. not to mention, the website shows no mention og any lease termination or violations. I take daily medication which i was keeping in my unit so I dont lose it and I havent taken it for four days. on and off usage can result in decreased efficacy which is detrimental to my health: ive tried calling 3 different Green Box facilities and nobody answred or replied to my voicemail. in my opinion, not only is this UNPROFESSIONAL, its CRIMINAL. to falsely accuse me of a crime and lock me out lacking the fortitude to just terminate my lease is pathetic and cowardly. forgive me for my wordiness but if you're considering renting here, i would sooner suggest leaving your valuables in an open cardboard box on Colfax as a much more sound choice than to deal with a company who would treat one customer this way. i have reciepts for everything I have stated and no reason to lie. all i want is my things back, my name cleared and that i or anyone else never have the misfortune of dealing with a distasteful and feckless group like Green Box ever again. they are an absolute joke. 11/10/25 EDIT - dont worry, i've taken legal actions as well. nobody has reached out to me regarding this matter and it's pushing a month. you guys think you can respond to my review two weeks after being unjustly denied access to my unit and falsely accused and claim you take this issue seriously? we can make this right off the record or i'll see you guys in court.

I’m now renting three units from Greenbox. The staff here is amazing. Terry and Donna have both helped me multiple times and the level of customer care is extraordinary. They have helped me navigate what has turned into a much bigger move than anticipated. If you have storage needs, I highly recommend the team. Added benefit, you can reserve their truck for free in the first 30 days of your lease. It was such a big help to get our larger items out of our apartment and to the storage facility.

Love working with Charlotte! She is so sweet. The location & prices of the units are very reasonable for the city. It's awesome to have carts available as well. A lot of other storage facilities don't have them and they are incredibly helpful.
