My Garage Self Storage

I’ve had storage units here on the West Side for over 30 years, long enough to practically qualify for veteran benefits, and I can say without hesitation that Anna, the Property Manager @Remcon, is the best thing that’s ever happened to this place. She’s kind, professional, and somehow manages to remind me about my payments before I even forget them. She treats customers with real respect, which is rare these days. Honestly, if every business had an Anna, the world would run smoother. Yes, the rent keeps climbing (pretty soon my boxes will need a second job), but the property grounds are clean & tidy, and they even have a restroom — which becomes priceless when you’re knee-deep in old belongings wondering why you ever saved half this stuff. A huge thank-you as well to Ossiana, the District Manager, who truly went above and beyond to help me during a difficult financial moment. She worked out a fair, thoughtful plan for me, and I’m sincerely grateful for her support. Anna is hands-down the most personable and helpful property manager they’ve had in decades. She makes the whole storage experience actually… enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I wish I can no stars this review but I have to write a review. I was paying 120 every month for about a whole year just for them to not take care of our storage. There was an animal that somehow got in, (even with the lock) and completely took a dump in the whole storage area. It was so gross our whole storage had feces everywhere. Everything was unusable due to the contamination of the feces. I had 7 people who help me take out all the stuff out. Nothing was paid to us in return. It was at least about 1400 dollars worth of stuff there. I was so pissed but was expecting they would at least negotiate or do something in return. I’m an active duty service member and I need my stuff in a storage because I’m always moving around. It’s been about 6 months since this happened and nothing happened. No email, no call, my wife had put in the effort in trying to contact them every week they pretty much ghosted us. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MONEY. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. I don’t know about those bots with 5 stars but this is my own personal experience. If I find the photos I will definitely post them up.

NEVER TRUST THIS LOCATION IF YOU VALUE YOUR ASSETS. THE FRONT DESK GUY WHO CLAIMS TO BE THE MANAGER HAD MY CATALYTIC CONVERTERS STOLEN OFF OF MY CAR THAT I WAS PAYING EVERY MONTH ON TIME TO STORE AT THIS FACILITY. I KNEW IT WAS AN INSIDE JOB BECAUSE WHEN I WENT INTO THE OFFICE TO ASK IF THE THEFT WAS RECORDED BY THE 3 CAMERAS THAT WERE POINTED TOWARDS THE DIRECTION OF WHERE MY CAR WAS STORED THE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE TOLD ME THAT THE CAMERAS WERE COINCIDENTALLY NOT WORKING AT THE DAY AND TIME OF MY CATALYTIC CONVERTERS BEING STOLEN OFF OF MY CAR. I HIGHLY ADVISE ANYONE WHO IS LUCKY TO HAVE LANDED ON MY REVIEW TO NOT INTRUST THIS DISHONEST LOCATION WITH YOUR PROPERTY. I HOPE MY LOSS SAVES OTHERS FROM TAKING A LOSS. BEWARE OF THE CON ARTIST AT THIS LOCATION HIS NAME ALSO STARTS WITH CON.
