Prime Storage

I had a great experience with all the staff at Prime Storage, Mark was very friendly and helpful greeting me on property. Monica was very professional and informative, explaining the options and details. Both Monica and Stacy were super helpful when I changed my mind and decided to go into a bigger unit. The facility is clean and well maintained, centrally located in Phoenix. I Feel good about choosing Prime Storage.

The area has many homeless people. Because of this you can’t use the dollies or bathrooms unless the office is open. There is no trash can in case you need to throw something away. There was dog pee in one of the hallways when we were cleaning out our unit. You have to give a 30 day notice. Mine happened to be on a Sunday and they were closed so I was charged for another month even though my things were moved out. I was told that they plan to move someone else in while charging me (so they get paid twice). Would not recommend.

STAY AWAY!!!! This company has a standard of raising your rates SHORTLY after you move in. I was told that after 6 or 9 months they look at the "going rate" for the storage units in the area and they adjust the rates to reflect that. I WAS ONLY IN MY UNIT 2 MONTHS AND THEY RAISED MY RENT AND MADE IT DIFFICULT TO RESOLVE IT. BE AWARE!!! READ PAST THE GOOD REVIEWS!!! WE ALL KNOW THAT YOU CAN PAY FOR 5 STAR REVIEWS AND HERE IS AN EXAMPLE!!! This leaves it open for them to jack up your monthly cost and then they don't communicate with you to try and resolve the extremely high cost they just caused you, once you have moved all your belongings into their business. They will tell you to just contact the manager and they will work with you but that is a joke as well. Notice that all the good reviews are from.people that have only left a few reviews and the negative ones are from.people that have been around for a while, with multiple reviews. This place has a lot of negative reviews saying the same thing that I am, so be aware!!! The sad part is the management knows all of this and they continue to do this to their customers. I would assume the owner of the company knows and why would anyone want to do business with someone that has such shady business ethics? I took my business elsewhere and will never recommend this company to anyone. I would love to speak to the corporate office and even the owner and hear their explanation on why they treat their customers this way. I never could get a returned phone call from anyone past the store manager.
