If you want mold, come here.... Left my stuff at their storage unit, inside and climate controlled, and somehow water got inside. My stuff grew mold. I Submitted a complaint and the lady at the location, I assume manager, did not care one bit. Not a single ounce of responsibility or accountability, or even care from her. Makes no sense why I have to pay for water damage I got from above.

Just got a new Storage Unit here at public storage. It’s so clean new facility floors are shining and it’s amazing. Neal was an amazing help with all my questions and everything I was concerned about and even showing me the facility! thank you to outstanding management Going out of the way to make sure my needs were met. I recommend 👍🏽

Initially, I was beyond happy with my experience at this location - Neil, the manager, helped me to get two storage units within a week as the larger storage unit I needed was not available at the time (November 2024). I moved in with no problem, and one unit was 2 spaces from the entrance door. All of my interactions with Neil were friendly and professional, and he was welcoming. I could tell he takes pride in this property and even saw him sweeping the lot on a few occasions. My reason for the poor review is due to poor engineering and mitigating the safety concerns with it. When I vacated my units in February 2025, the down spouts from the building iced over a vehicle's width of the driving lane next to the man door entrances for my storage units. It was NOT SAFE to walk on - there was a minimum of a sheet of 2" of ice. I stopped by storage first thing in the morning (2 hours before moving) to put 5lbs of salt down in front of both entrances to my units. Before we even moved a single box, my (50+ year old) uncle slipped on the ice and had a nasty cut to the palm of his hand. I put towels down to try to mitigate the hazard. I even had another customer thank me for putting salt down as she said walking on the ice made her nervous, and she was there the day before. I came back that night to take pictures, because 5lbs of salt hardly did a thing to help. When I emptied my units, I also turned off autopay on my units. I immediately got a call from Neil stating he was on vacation but needed to call any customer when they turn off autopay. I told him about the ice and how my uncle cut himself before moving a single box. He immediately became defensive and told me there was nothing he could do about it until the temperature increases (Monday, it was supposed to be above freezing in the 40s). I disagreed as Public Storage is a business, a business that was receiving $211/month from me alone, not including one-time $29 admin fees per unit or nonrefundable $19 per lock. Surely, Public storage can afford to hire someone to salt their property in the winter as a part of their maintenance plan to avoid accidental injuries in the Midwest. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using THIS Public Storage facility if you intend on moving or needing to access your storage items in the winter months. Unless they start salting when the snow melts, IT IS NOT SAFE.
