SecureSpace Self Storage West Seattle

*Vivia* did an excellent job making things right and getting me moved in quickly on Sat; after my initial move the day was blown by no staff at all on site all day Fri. and no answers to calls after driving over there. Terri and Tony were also helpful previously, but were not there in the end. Seems to be poor corporate oversight with adequate staffing and and having calls answered; the call center couldnt do anything but say "no one is picking up". Pay for substitute or on call staff at least 9-5 m-f. So some good customer service when the right hands but something is systemically off.

The check-in process was quick and easy, thanks to the friendly and hardworking staff—especially Lindsey R. Lindsey was incredibly helpful, answered all of our questions about storage unit sizes, and even walked us through accessing our space and important safety tips. She truly went above and beyond. On short notice, we needed to arrange storage for a large move of two apartments (3 bedrooms total). We scheduled the movers for Thanksgiving (because we’d actually get a discount! Lol). Cue us calling around two days before the move to different self-storage that could accommodate us and the moving truck… I am so glad we ended up choosing SecureSpace. The office would be closed Thanksgiving, but same thing everywhere else, so no problem there. We booked the unit online, came to the office Tuesday evening (two nights before Thanksgiving), and all of the administrative stuff was taken care of lickety-split. Tony was in the office and answered all of our questions, helped us out, walked us through the entire process and walked us through the building. Even though our move was for the Thursday, we had to do these things first on the Tuesday since the office would be closed; Tony helped us out just great and we made sure everything would be in place for easy access for us on Thursday. We’d never used SecureSpace before, but I am very happy with our experience and (especially) with the facility. I’ll probably choose SecureSpace again in the future. Not only were the rates better than everywhere else I was calling around, but the facility was pristine and, well, secure! Cameras and an attentive office staff & security staff make me feel our belongings are very safe. Very happy with the convenient access to the basement floor too, where the clearance is higher and our movers had no trouble at all with their large truck (this was a big concern of ours!). The location is great as well. For our purposes, it just happened to be the closest out of any other place to the 2nd location we had for the movers, so the entire process went extremely smoothly and was as streamlined as a big move could be! While it was just yesterday that we moved-in to the storage unit, we were really happy and impressed with our experience with SecureSpace so far and very pleased with the facility as well.
