The Container Store

A wonderful experience recently at the Container Store in White Plains NY. I called ahead to make a design appointment for library shelving. I spoke with Alexander who was very helpful and knowledgeable in response to my preliminary questions. I made an appointment with Alexander for a few days later. When I arrived (a little early), the manager was expecting me and called me by my name, assuring me Alexander would be available momentarily (on time). Alexander worked with me swiftly and skillfully to confirm my design and place the order. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I appreciate the White Plains, NY team.

Impressive first-time visit to the store. Amazed by the broad selection of items. I was quickly able to find my desire item because I looked online and determined the availability. Quite pleased with my initial experience.

Was looking for a shower curtain liner - very understandable that they don’t carry this, but when I finally found someone and asked for help, I was told to check the bath aisle, which I had. I said I looked there and didn’t see it. No eye contact or offer to check the aisle or store inventory for me. So unhelpful and rude. I never would have treated a customer so dismissively in my retail days.
