U-Haul Moving & Storage at Teall Ave

Very difficult looking for the key drop off to return equipment (10' truck) after hours. We picked it up from a different state, never been to this location before. The instructions showed a small orange box to drop off the key but it looked nothing like the actual drop off slot in the door by the garage/sliding doors. Waited on hold for 20-30 min with the after hours phone line while circling around all 3 Uhaul buildings looking for the orange drop box. Only to find it was referring to this door by the drop off lane. Truck rental: a bit sketchy from a tow garage in NJ but otherwise truck worked as stated with no issue. Was just enough for moving from 1 bd room (in a 3bd apt) to a 1 bd room apartment.

I had a U-Haul reservation for 0700. After several calls the general manager said they are closed for loss of power. clearly, that general manager is a lemon. I added their power meter, between that and the lights they are clearly getting power. Good weather day and no snow.

Not the best experience. Reservation wait: The person in front of us was late, which meant no vehicles were available at our scheduled time. That pushed us to start our rental about 30 minutes later than planned. After-hours return: Because of the delay, we had to use the “after hours” drop-off process—including taking photos and manually inserting details into their system. It felt a bit unprofessional and frustrating. Vehicle performance: On the plus side, the van ran fine—the gas pedal worked, and the brakes responded as expected. Would recommend? Not really. But if you're in a pinch and it's the only option around, it's better than nothing—kind of like getting an Uber XL when it's your only choice.
