U-Haul Moving & Storage of Alafaya

I reserved a small trailer online for a 4-hour rental. When I arrived, the staff connected the trailer and asked me to turn on my lights. I was then told that my left turn signal was not working. The employee said she tested it with a light tester and confirmed the issue. I had personally installed the trailer light converter and was confident it was functioning correctly. However, since I didn’t have a tester with me to verify it on the spot, I felt pressured into upgrading to a truck, which cost significantly more. When I returned home, I tested the connector myself and confirmed that the left turn signal was working properly. This experience makes me question the accuracy of the initial test and left me feeling unnecessarily upsold.

I completed the all the paperwork in the mobile app prior to arrival, put my payment information in and everything was done all I needed was the keys. I was told on arrival the van I chose requires me to pay 15.00 for the insurance and that it was a new policy for their region. Mind you I already signed the contract on the mobile side which said nothing of sorts and it allowed for me to hold the van for me to pick it up. Needless to say, U-Haul needs to get their act together this felt like a total bait and switch! The employees remained professional so this is not a review on them rather on management and how they run their business!

The people that worked there were great and had no problems but how is a company like u haul in a city like Orlando where every road is a toll road not only going to make you pay for the toll but then charge you a extra dollar for every toll you go through then when you go to pay and charge you a admin fee , I payed Uhaul more for the tolls than to fill my truck
