The staff at this location has always been excellent in the treatment that they give me. I cannot say enough about the counter employees at this location. They have always taken into concern the fact that I have difficulty getting in and out of certain vehicles and they always try the very best to accommodate my needs. Our rent from this location quite often based on the fact that I do not have a car and this is the most economical way that I can run errands and do what I need to do to take care of personal business. I would highly recommend a raise and a very high evaluation of each one of the employees that work for counters at this location. I cannot again say enough of how I appreciate these people and these guys always been excellent to me.

Can I just take the time to say a BIG THANK YOU to the two gents working this past Saturday. Didn’t get their names, but they helped us overcome a morning when nothing was going right. Thank you! Also, we’ve rented from your location several times before over the last 15 to almost 20 years, and never a problem.

UPDATE: Never heard back from the District Mgr as I asked him to review the video. He even told me during our last conversation that Brandon the Mgr was on his last writeup and would most likely be gone soon. Apparently follow up is non existent in this district. __________________________________________________ Original Review: Those that see my reviews are aware that I love to praise a job well done. I originally intended to provide a 5 star review as the only negative I could find was the construction (no fault of the stores) that made entry and exit difficult, but after my interaction with the store manager Brandon I am forced to change it to 1 star. Here is my review: We scheduled our reservation with the Hendersonville location to bring our son back to his new college apartment in Knoxville. We stopped in a few days earlier and spoke with Tre who was nice enough to confirm our reservation as well as reschedule it for 9am instead of 10am on Sunday August 10th. We arrived and picked up the truck and got it loaded up… so far so good. We returned to have the trailer attached so we could load up our car as the point was to do a 1 way straight trip and drive our vehicle back. We arrived in Knoxville at the Clinton U-Haul location to have the trailer removed so we can have access to the truck to unload it and Darius the assistant mgr stated “it’s by the grace of God that you did not lose your car”. I stated why and he showed me that the passenger side tire was not strapped in and so I snapped a photo. He stated that he had a previous issue with that location and would notate the issue, I inquired about the fact that it would be after hours that we would be dropping off the truck and he said that would be fine and I could go ahead and check in both the trailer and truck at that time. I was given a claim number and received a phone call from Brandon the Manager at the Hendersonville location with the expectation that he might say "Please accept my apology that somehow the strap was either not installed, or not installed correctly, but I am so glad that you and your car made it safe." instead had a TOTALLY different interaction This is a summary of our phone conversation. Brandon: I reviewed the video and it shows my guy strapping it in. Me: wonderful, I can you send me the video so that I can have piece of mind that maybe it was on 95% of the way? Brandon: no, you would have to get an attorney reach out to our legal team to subpoena that. Me: ok, can I review the video in person at least? Brandon: No, and I don’t appreciate you lying. Me: Did you call me a liar? Brandon: yes, and I don’t appreciate you trying to get one of my employees fired. Me: I am not trying to get anyone fired. I was wanting peace of mind that my car was strapped in for most of the trip. Brandon: Well my guys told me that you asked how to remove the straps and then how to put them back on. Me: I never asked that and why would in the middle of a straight 4 hour drive, unload my car to joyride around? Brandon: Well I can’t show you the video. Me: I understand that but how long does the video stay on the server as I don’t want it deleted if a subpoena is provided. At that point Brandon ended the call. I was able to get ahold of upper management that noticed that I was not in it for compensation but instead the fact that Brandon insulted my character. He needs additional training in customer service as well as ownership for mistakes.
