4th and Elm Self Storage

Have had a unit here for a while and for majority of the time have found it to be a good experience until the last two months. I will note the company that manages this building has changed since I became a customer. In October I visited my unit to find drywall and construction remnants all over my belongings. (The top of the units are caged in but the cage has big enough holes that all the construction dust and drywall got through). I was never given a heads up that construction would be happening or a courtesy to prep my unit or cover my belongings. I sent the condition of my unit with photos the property manager (Martin) and requested a phone call to about it. He gave a very generic apology and said he would get back to me. Almost two months later and nothing..no phone call, no offer to clean up, no discount for the inconvenience (hoping nothing was damaged severely but may not know until I move out). I’ve called several times and even contacted HQ in Washington DC and no one’s gotten back to me. Could use better management and customer service. A disappointing recent experience to what was previously a pretty good one.

Safe, secure, affordable. Staff is only there during normal downtown business hours, but are reachable by phone if needed. Clean facilities. Access is limited, as they close at 11pm, but totally worth the price. Also, they have web access for payments, and e-mailed reminders for when payment is due so that you don't accidentally miss it, which is extremely helpful and sometimes sorely needed.

Caught a glimpse of the facility walking to The Banks yesterday. Place looks pretty sharp. With all of the new condo development in Over the Rhine and downtown this is sure be a great amenity for the area.
