CubeSmart Self Storage

The Cubesmart at 1901 East University has had a door out of service for SEVERAL MONTHS due to a keypad issue. It's incredibly inconvenient if your storage unit is on that side of the building. I've placed several calls written emails, and stopped in to talk to the employees. No resolution has happened. I was told by one of the staff that they had put in a service request, but apparently it was not a priority. I was told 4 times that the District Manager would call me about the issue, but to date, I haven't received a response from them. -In addition, the building is very humid after it rains, and some of my items have developed mold on them since I've had my storage there. There are visible signs that some of the units have water leaks and I don't see any dehumidifiers, or roofers to fix any issues. -There's almost always piles of unwanted items or trash in the bays. A broken window out of a bay door. Storage unit doors completely off track and full of junk. The place has a bit of a smell to it. I wish I would've shopped around before settling on this place. Edit: It's now been over a month later (August 26th) and the 50% of the bay doors are still out of service at this facility. Today I stopped by and the elevator is also not working. Please do not reply with a message to contact your email directly, I've done that and have received no response. Edit: October 11th and the bay door still does not work with pin pad. Thank you, Cubesmart Owner, for your thoughtful response asking me to reach out to you privately about issues with your building, when they are clearly defined in my review.

The ladies at the Redbank Rd. facility were very helpful in assisting us in choosing a storage unit and explaining access for us and the moving truck. Bree was very helpful as we booked our unit while we were in Alabama. Today Liz took us to our unit, helped with the lock and showed the options for best access for unloading the moving truck. The personal attention and knowledge was appreciated and helpful in settling our concerns for this stage of our move and relocation.

The ladies that are there in the office are very people friendly and helpful. I have not had any problems there and the pricing of the units are great. The units are clean and I love the fact that there are bathrooms there you can use. Also they are easy for elderly and handicap people. Keep up the work and you should be proud of being so professional and helpful. Thank you.
