I just want to leave a review in regards to Kimberly. That woman is beyond excellent. I came in on a last minute request for a storage and she was literally on her lunch break. She stopped eating, open the doors and immediately started assisting me. We didn’t know what we wanted or needed. She walked around showing us units. She was so professional and what I can say is she follows the rules down to the last sentence. She went over a lot but was very knowledgeable, efficient, and polite. She followed up with me, made sure I had my documents and gate code. She even went the extra mile to inform me I forgot to lock my unit. If she is not a manager then she should be. I don’t think I’ve even had someone really care that much when renting a storage and she deserves all the stars and kudos. That woman was amazing and thank you again for making my time consuming and overwhelming move so much more tolerable. You deserve 20,000 stars!!!

This company really needs improvement on their customer service approach. Even the executive management team doesn’t care what is going on. On my day of arrival and unload all of the gates to the complex were closed. This was at 11:30AM. I had no way to get in and my movers were 30 minutes behind me. I took a chance and entered a code I used for other pass code related issues into the gate code box. It worked and I proceeded to the office. From what I could see there was no one in the office and the lights were off. I still couldn’t get in because the entrance to the climate controlled building was locked. I tried the same code that I used at the front gate and it worked. One of my movers needed a restroom break after drying four hours from Austin to Houston so they tried the office door. It was open. He entered trying to find a restroom and an employee was found in the office with the lights off and asleep. We were informed they had a roll up door but it was not accessible via the gooseneck trailers we used. The same employee that was caught sleeping on the premises managed to defeat an emergency door alarm so we could use that door as a shorter access to my storage unit. Unfortunately the pest control at the site had not been maintained and two of my contracted movers were stung multiple times by yellow jackets. Since this was an emergency exit there are liabilities associated with people not being able to use it due to stinging insects. The manager finally called back the following day (after three requests during my offload day) and claimed she allowed employees to sleep in the office. The sleeping Employee is her Son. The manager also claimed she was onsite the entire time, but we never saw her durig the three and a half hour offload. I actually paid more for this location because they had a larger climate controlled space than the others. After I informed the regional management team the best they could do was to lower my monthly rate by 13 dollars. I have contacted members of the executive team as well. They originally pointed me to a female regional director. This executive didn’t even know that the director he referred me to was not in charge of this area anymore. Unbelievable! After I got moved in I noticed it was very warm and muggy in the building. I asked about this because the unit was supposed to be “climate controlled”. They then informed me that they kept the temperature at 80 degrees. When I reminded them that the climate in south Houston was very high humidity and that maintaining a building at 80 degrees would not maintain an appropriate humidity they told me to go by some “Damp Rid” if I was concerned. I will be moving my belongings soon, but this will result in $1000.00 in additional moving costs for me. What ever you do don’t consider this location to store your belongings in. Just a horrible company. Update: Now they respond with a generic number that puts me into their call center. I did call and it was future. A kind lady answered the phone and basically said someone would call back. Great way to work on a resolution. Also when you look at the reviews they seem to be an aggregate of multiple locations in multiple states. I found one from Michigan. Don’t believe everything you read about this location. Update number 2: we show up on moving day and the wasp are back at the same door putting my movers at risk again. Oh, and it appears as if the executives are blocking my messages thru linked in. These guys are so questionable. Please read this entire review and be careful if you decide to rent. Their location is not worth the lack of customer service and empathy that goes all the way to the top.
