PODS Moving & Storage

Our POD was delivered to our new home today, after *Many* months in storage and even More Miles from our original pickup. Mike was our delivery driver and he is Fabulous! He called when he was on his way to let us know when he’d arrive (which made it possible for us to grab a sandwich while we waited). Mike arrived right on time then discussed options for the POD to be unloaded. Our driveway pavers are brand new, but were the best location for the unload, based on our lot and grade. Mike assured us the pavers would be safe and described the delivery process. His confidence and experience was very comforting. He rotated our POD so the door was facing the best unload direction and so we still had access to our driveway. He also placed pads under the corners of the POD to raise it up off of the pavers for even more safety for our surface. Mike was timely, kind, experienced, and conscientious. We highly recommend PODS and Greatly appreciate Mike’s service today!

Scheduling and communication for delivery with PODS was fantastic! Keeping us up-to-date on the arrival time was seamless. Our delivery guy Tom was friendly and willing to customize where the POD would be placed. Wonderful customer service!

My overall PODS experience was horrible. The driver hit my house and knocked the downspout off the house and damaged both my yard and my neighbors yard. PODS customer service is inferior. They were difficult to deal with and gave me a very hard time with getting the damages repaired. I was also forced to accept the lowest contractor quotes Not at all customer friendly, no apologies from PODS for the issues. When it was time for the container pickup they sent the same driver who caused the original damage. The driver caused further damage to our yards. This review applies to my CT state experience. UPDATE: Pods contacted me regarding my review. While they were polite and seemed concerned about my experience, they were more concerned about the poor rating and review I gave them then making me a satisfied customer. Ie: I had to pay additional money out of my own pocket to pay for the downspout rather the fully compensating me, as they only reimbursed me based on the lowest quotes received. I stand by my review and will not make any changes.
