First off, I would like to say that AJ (attendant on duty) at this location is amazing. Once Prestige bought out Graham station, things began going downhill. I was forced to purchase insurance even though I was told it was optional, the front gate has been broken more times than it has been fixed which allows tons of unknown traffic. My biggest problem, however, is that I was falsely accused of ramming into the main gate. Was called and told that I was caught on camera hitting the gate and that I would be reported. I was furious and I met with the attendant that night who described the truck on camera that was seen on camera hitting the gate. When they described the truck to me, I showed the attendant my truck and they said "yeah, that's not the truck on camera". They described the man in the truck as a short Mexican man (I am 6'2 and 300lbs). Then they tried to say that the unknown person used my gate code to get in so I had to have given it to them because it was the last code used when the gate was rammed (I was in fact there that night). I had an additional lock on my gate (from the facility) for 5 days that prohibited me from making sales from the items in my unit. When I asked when they would remove the lock, they told me that they were going to call my insurance to file a claim, stating that it was my faut for giving the unknown truck driver my code. I had to call DM to get clarity on the situation. They continued to say that it was my fault. I threatened with legal action and later on they sent an email saying they would drop the claim but they "still believe that I gave the person my code". I am removing my items (since they finally removed the lock) and finding a better and more secure facility. They are looking for any cheap way to get that gate fixed and will continue to blame ANYONE to accomplish that. I hope this helps make your decision on your next storage facility decision.
