U-Haul Moving & Storage of West Florence

It amazes me that I can make a reservation online for an ONE WAY auto transportation. Then I get to the store and manger suddenly doesn’t want to trailer to leave the city. Stating that’s “it’s an in town only trailer” Sir, there is no such thing as an in town only trailer, you just don’t want it to leave. If it is Maybe U-Haul should have an accurate inventory or actually stick to the reservation.

It took close to an hour to get a trailer rented and hooked up to leave. I was the third person in line and there was only one person working and he was a bit slow doing things. The trailer had three brand new tires and one that was down to the wear marks on the tread. That tire blew out on me about three hours from home causing us to be stuck on the side of the road while assistance was dispatched. Also two of the tires were very low on air pressure. The trailer had a bad bounce once loaded until I figured out the tires were low. One had 20 psi when it should have had 65psi. This should’ve been something that was taken care of at the rental location. Why is it that you rent trailers with the connecting wire for the lights not long enough to hook up to your vehicle? The guy wanted me to pay for a pigtail to hook it up. An additional charge that shouldn’t be charged. Luckily he had one and let me use it which I returned with the trailer. Returning the trailer was fast and easy. The roadside assistance was a pretty good process from start to finish.

Very feral excellent I didn’t have an appointment. I walked through the door to get a truck and was able to get it Stevie. She was great and excellent at what she was doing. Made my experience easy and pleasant. I recommend U-Haul.
