U-Haul Storage of West Toledo

U-haul is one of the best service but not that store location. It said open 7 days and l went there at 11 AM today unfortunately it was closed and also their business hours were not correct

Rented a small storage on Monroe Street and Bancroft. The attendant threatened to call the police because I was inside of my storage unit and changed my shirt and used an outlet to charge my phone while I was in there. so I called them too so that they know I am a paying customer. Didn't want to end up getting shot by the cops because some uhaul worker was on a power trip and wanted to abuse her authority. She wanted to put a lock on my unit so that I would have to contact her in order to access my storage. Made no sense so the cops stood there while I removed my property. It was a traumatizing situation. Other than the lady at customer service compensating me for my unnecessary experience. I would not recommend the storage on Monroe st in Toledo to my worst enemy. It's sad that people are in positions of power to discriminate against others.

The pickup truck we rented was not available because it was not returned on time, but Heather went out of her way to make sure we had a truck. She was professional, friendly and customer oriented. She tried to help when we had problems with the Alexis road location. We were never going to use U-Haul again after our experience with Tim (general manager) and Alex (asst. manager) at the Alexis location, but Heather's kindness, understanding and personable customer service convinced us to give U-Haul another try. We will never under any circumstances go to the Alexis road location again, but we will definitely go to the Monroe location again because of Heather.
