After nearly three years as a paying customer at this location without issue, my most recent experience has been unacceptable and has completely undermined my trust in this company. Roughly a month ago, I moved into a second unit only to find out—without any prior notice or consent—that my original unit had been transferred. The widely advertised and verbally confirmed “first month free” promotion was also not honored. Since then, I’ve encountered denied access to my unit, inconsistent account information, and unexplained charges, including a lien and multiple transfer fees that accumulated in less than 30 days. After weeks of calls, emails, and escalation attempts, I’ve now gone over two weeks without any contact from a district manager, despite being told one would follow up. Communication from corporate has been vague and unprofessional, leaving me with serious doubts about the company's leadership structure and accountability. In reviewing their BBB profile, I found similar complaints from other customers, confirming my concerns about non-compliance and systemic issues. While they have now removed the additional fees—likely in response to my persistence—they are still trying to force me to pay the full first month’s rent even though I already paid at the time of move-in what's now been identified as a “1/2 month free” promotion. Instead, they applied a half-off promotion without notice, but now still require me to pay a full month and refuse to correct the billing despite my requests and supporting documentation. This experience has been completely mishandled from start to finish. What should have been a simple move-in has turned into weeks of unnecessary stress and confusion. I no longer feel confident that my property is secure, and I strongly urge others to carefully review this company’s reputation before doing business here. UPDATE!! After posting this review, I was contacted and told to “call the office” to resolve the matter. I did—as instructed—and still, no clear solution or correction was provided. Despite going out of my way (again) to cooperate and get clarity, I was met with more confusion, delays, and contradictory information. I went to this location yesterday (7/8/2025) and was yet again locked out of both my units while one is not an issue. Attempts to make payments were blocked by the system showing inflated charges that didn’t reflect what was discussed. Even after I was told fees had been removed, the documentation showed otherwise. To make matters worse, I was never contacted directly about these errors—I only found out by calling corporate and notified of an auction notice, placing my belongings at immediate risk. This is not an isolated or local issue—it's a systemic problem tied to corporate mismanagement. I spoke with multiple corporate-level employees who provided conflicting information, failed to follow through on promised corrections, and left this matter unresolved for weeks with no documention. While Crystal at this location was helpful and professional, other interactions—including a corporate employee suggesting police involvement when I continued to request clarification—were completely out of line. As an African-American woman, this experience was not only distressing but also raised serious concerns about how customers like me are treated. At this point, it is clear that there is no intention by management—locally or corporately—to take accountability or provide a professional resolution. My repeated attempts to resolve the issue in good faith have been ignored or redirected back to individuals who either don’t have the authority to help or aren’t empowered to act. This is no longer just an error—it’s negligence. And it’s proof that this is not a localized issue, but a reflection of broader problems within iStorage and its parent company, NSA. If you value your property, peace of mind, and professionalism—look elsewhere.

I always feel safe coming here, everything is brightly lit, cameras everywhere. Melissa is easy to talk to and always gets any issues resolve quickly. Her attitude and care makes any situation a lot easier to deal with. Been storing here over a year and it is still well kept.
